March Update!
Oauth2 (Google/Microsoft) Authentication for Web Service Emails
We’ve made some updates to Web Services so that in lieu of SMTP, you can use Oauth2 to utilize Google or Microsoft. In Settings>Web Services WO Notices, E-Sig Requests, and Payment Portal you can opt to use Oauth2! Simply select Google/Microsoft from the dropdown and click Set Up. Don’t worry, if you want to continue to use SMTP those settings are still available to you as well.
Then click to Create New Provider Sign In. From there you are prompted to identify the provider from the drop down, and add an email address; then, click sign. You’ll be prompted to enter the password for this account.
The added accounts are then available to use – to stop using, simply click and add another account or click “use” on the account you want to utilize. Any account you add will remain there to be used.

iPoint Workflows
We get asked about intended workflow in iPoint all the time. So, in an effort to provide clear and concise guidelines, we’ve revamped out basic and detailed (deferred revenue) workflows with visual charts to help!
Feast your eyes on these!

CRM Phone Number Formatting
Doing international business? Those phone numbers with Country code just don’t format the same. Now, you have an option to allow phone numbers to be formatted as entered. You can change this globally in Settings>Module Settings>CRM> Phone Format.
.
.
Labor Phase Order in Dropdown Lists
When you clock into a WO or Project, the Labor Phases are in the order you’ve ordered them in Settings>Labor Phases. Previously, if you did a manual time entry on either a Project or WO, the list would be alphabetic instead. You now have an option to show them as ordered in settings. Settings>Module Settings>Projects> to turn on the option to mirror the order in Settings>Labor Phases.

Portal Import Select Existing Contact
Initially, we looked for a match when you are importing a Proposal from Portal and gave you the option to accept the match we found or to create a new contact. Now, you can find the record you want to match it with which can be super helpful in preventing records with different naming conventions! Now, if iPoint asks if this is the correct customer and you click “no” you are able to create a new record or choose from those that exist via a search.

Groups when Creating & Duplicating WOs
Some of our Community Members have a lot of Calendar Groups that they use for creating WOs. It can be difficult to keep track when navigating in between those groups to create WOs. We’ve added a cool feature that shows a count of those checked to help those of you that use multiple calendar groups for scheduling WOs. As you click to add those people, a count is then visible so that you know how many users you’ve selected.

Recurring Invoicing
These three are all located in the same area. Settings>Module Settings>Invoices>Invoice Options.
Here you can opt to turn on the ability to create Recurring Invoices, Send in Bulk and to turn on the ability for recurring invoices to be automatically emailed.
