User Biography Settings

iPoint allows you to notify your customers when you schedule a work order for them. The customer can then confirm, cancel, or reschedule the work order. The customer email will provide a picture and biography of the technician(s) being dispatched. This tab is where you set up that information for each of your technicians.

  1. Right Click in the Staff Member Photo field and choose “Insert Picture”. This will open a browser where you can search your computer for the staff member’s picture.
  2. The Staff Member Bio is a freeform text box where you can enter information about the technicians and their skills or specialties. Standard text formatting is available using FileMaker’s Format menu.
  3. The “Add” button under the Staff Member Bio opens a popover where the User’s signature can be added. This isn’t used on Work Order Notices but is used in other areas.
