The Custom Group Summary Report focuses your client’s attention on proposal items by a predetermined group. The Custom Group Summary Report: summarizes specific items in the proposal by summarizing them by predetermined groups. Examples of groups are “Control and Automation,” “Multimedia Displays,” “Speakers,” etc. For each group, the report will include:
- An image of your choice which represents the group
- A prebuilt block of text highlighting the features of the group
- A list of products in the group – Define which specific items are included in the settings.
- For each product in the list, the report can include several Custom Group Fields details. The user can set up any detail about the item as a Custom Group field, for example:
- Item name
- Location
- Description
- Manufacturer
- Item type (for example, hand-held, in-wall, etc.)
- Item category
- Quantity
- Speaker Type

Click the Group Summary button on the Reports tab to open a PDF of the Custom Group Summary report. From here, you will be able to print, save, or email it to your customer.
Note: For the Group Summary report to function, some preliminary setup steps must be completed.
The Group Summary report can also be included as part of the proposal. Just include it in the Proposal Package.
