The contract for your proposal can be customized to include pre-built text that will auto-generate on each proposal.
Legacy Feature: The Default Contract is a legacy feature and most users will find the customization available on the Contracts to be more useful than the text adjustment fields listed here.
There are two blocks of text available for customization.
Proposal Contract Page Body – is the primary contract verbiage.
Proposal Contract Page Footer After Signature – this secondary contract text will be printed below the signature lines on your proposal’s contract.
Select Merge Text offers several merge fields to populate the text on your contract with the customer and job-specific information from the individual sales order/proposal.
- Chose a text field from the listed options.
- Click in the text field, placing your mouse where you want the merge text to be displayed.
- Click the Insert button to have the merge field displayed.
- You can type before and after the merge field, or edit the merge field style, font, color, and size. Just don’t edit any of the text between the { brackets }.
