Users can log into iPoint from anywhere on any device, as long as they have an active user name and password. However, system administrators may decide they don’t want someone logging in on a particular device. For example, maybe you decide that an employee should not be working from home on their home computer.

Using the Require Device Authorization setting in Settings > Company Info, administrators will need to authorize the use of individual devices for individual users.

When users log in to a new device for the first time, they are prompted to enter a device name.

The Devices tab is a list of the devices where a user has logged in.

  • Place a check next to each device where the user is authorized to access iPoint.
  • Clear the checkbox to remove iPoint access on that particular device.
