If you use an Android phone or other non-iOS device, you will be unable to download the FileMaker Go app or the iPointTech app as they are only available in the Apple App Store. But that doesn’t mean you do not have access to iPoint!
You need to use WebDirect, which is a web browser access to your iPoint data. But before you can access that iPoint, you’ll need to get your iPoint URL.

Once you have your iPoint URL, here’s what you need to do:
- On your phone, open your browser (i.e. Chrome)
- Enter the URL:
- Enter your user iPoint user name and password
- Now you are accessing the web version of iPoint!
There are a few things that do not currently work in the WebDirect version of iPoint. We are working to remedy these issues, but wanted you to be aware of them ahead of time.
- Work Order Task > Filter and Sort pop-overs
- Creating/Editing Marketing Templates
Some people who are working at a considerable distance from their office, like in another state, have found that the WebDirect option loads faster on their computers. If you are experiencing significant speed issues on your computer, you might try the WebDirect option.
