We have made some awesome improvements to our Calendar module. Ever need to see where the Work Order location is on a map? Guess what? Now, you can just select the Map view and there is no need to navigate to another browser window. How exciting is that?
We’ve also made it easier to to include Activities and Assignments on the Calendar – plus you can add Holidays! That for sure makes the iPoint Schedule Simple calendar is your one-stop shop to view the schedule for your employees and much MORE.
Favorite Views
Depending on your needs, we have lots of views that will be helpful; however, here are the views that are most frequently used by our community members!
Map Day – you guessed it! You can quickly and easily see where all of your Work Orders are scheduled and where your team will be today. It’s also handy for Service Scheduling when you have some unassigned Work Orders so you can schedule based on location! Save time and resources by cutting down on drive time.
Timeline Week – this is a great way to quickly look at what yout team has going on this week or next. Your resources are listed on the left and you can easily see who is available to be scheduled.
Month – need to view the month? Need a higher level view to schedule a technician for more than a day or two – this view is for you!
More > Year – here you can quickly pull up a full calendar to allow you to navigate to a specific date without having to click to go forward or back.
Tips & Tricks
Customize YOUR View Utilize the Filters, Settings and Preference buttons to make this simple calendar work for you!
Want to be able to quickly preview what something is on the calendar by clicking on it – rather than being automatically redirected to the Work Order or Event? Easy! Click on Calendar Preferences and click the box for Quick Info. From here, if you decide you need more information, simply click Details.
Are you the Service Scheduler? Utilize the Filter options to show only Work Orders and Events for a specific Calendar Group or Resources.
The bottom line here is, make the new Simple Calendar work for you – Customize YOUR View!
