You’ve finalized a sale and got a signature – now it’s time to get the process rolling.
You’ll need a “deposit”:“https://ipointsolutions.net/manual/1/en/topic/so-billing-tab from your client and to get the products requested “”:https://ipointsolutions.net/manual/1/en/topic/using-the-product-manager, allocated and ordered.
Go to the Billing tab to create an invoice to send to your client. When it’s paid, you can sync this to QB.
In the Product Manager request all items needed. Then the person responsible can allocate what is in stock and order is needed. When the items are received on the PO, they will be allocated to the SO from where they were requested. Be sure to sync POs to QB.
From the Product tab, have iPoint create all tasks now, this action will also create a Project and put the tasks/parts from the SO onto it. Then, from the Project, create your WOs for scheduling your techs onsite.
Techs will then complete tasks and deliver parts as appropriate.
Continue to invoice your client until the SO is complete!
