Feedback

At iPoint, we are committed to being the best business tool to run your Audio Video business. And that means we are continually adding features and functionality. And some of our best new features come from Community Members’ suggestions!

Since our inception, we have tried to incorporate your ideas. And this page is our attempt at making this process outward-facing.

Feature Request Forum

Part of our ticketing system includes a forum where all feature requests live. As an iPoint user, you can log in and see feature requests in our queue. See a feature you like? Let us know by clicking the Do You Like This Idea? link to vote for it. Additionally, you can add comments to features to help the developers know how you would use that particular feature.

To visit the forum, click the button!

Feature Request Forum button

You’ll need to log in with your email address and password. Note: This is not the same as your iPoint username and password.
If you can’t remember your password, click the Forgot your password? link and follow the prompts to reset your Feature Request Forum password.

Purpose

  • The Feature Request Forum is designed to give you, the iPoint Community Member, a place to see the existing feature requests in our queue.
  • Then get other Community members to add feedback and vote for the features you, the community, want to see.
  • Your feedback helps us know what is important to the community.

But that has sometimes been an invisible, behind-the-scenes process. But this page is our attempt to change all that. This forum is our attempt at being more transparent with the development process within iPoint.

What’s the iPoint? (See what we did there?)

You’ve heard us say it over and over again. When you buy iPoint, you get our staff as an extension of your team! And that means that we want to listen to and understand your concerns. Our support team and training staff already provide how-to and process assistance. The point of the Feature Request Forum is to provide you with a place to provide feedback for new features and functionality you hope iPoint might consider in the future.

Get Started

Do you have a brilliant idea that iPoint isn’t doing yet? Then, send a ticket to iPoint Support and provide as much detail as possible about where and how you would use the feature.

How It Works

When you submit a feature request, we’ll post it in the Feature Request Forum. Here you’ll also see suggestions from other iPoint users. On each suggestion, you’ll see where it is in our development process:

  • Recent – this is a new request submitted by a user
  • Popular – several Community Members like this idea
  • Planned – we plan on developing this soon when our active projects are done
  • In Progress – our developers are actively working on this feature
  • Deferred – this is not in our current plan, but not entirely out of the question.
  • Implemented – open up iPoint, and you’ll see this feature in action!

Click on any existing suggestions to get additional details. You can add a comment if you have ideas on improving the feature request even more!

  • See a suggestion you like? – up-vote it by clicking the Do you like this idea? link
  • Want to clarify your understanding of a feature? – add your comments in the comment section

What Happens to Suggestions?

A member of our management team reviews every suggestion. First, we review the requests and assign them a status. Then, each suggestion is placed in a module where we think you’ll find this functionality if and when the time comes to implement it.

As we are constantly developing and working to make iPoint improvements, we cannot guarantee that we will complete each of these suggestions in any specific order or timeframe. But we do review this list regularly because many of our best ideas have come from users like you!

When the management team assigns the request to a developer, you’ll see the status change. So checking back will keep you informed on how our development cycle goes.

What Happened to the Old Feature Requests?

For the past ten years, we’ve been collecting your suggestions. We get about 80 – 100 new requests each month. We currently have about 1,500 of these requests in the queue, and we are constantly evaluating them to determine what we are going to add.

Those old suggestions won’t necessarily be listed here on this page. If we are looking for additional feedback on requests, we will move it from the old list to this new one. Some of those old suggestions may be part of a larger rebuild. Don’t worry, we haven’t lost those requests. They just haven’t been transferred to this new feedback tool.
