One of the most powerful features of the iPoint Library is ensuring you are getting the latest pricing updated in your file automatically! Let’s talk about how that happens and what you can do to ensure accurate pricing.

Items from Partnered Vendors

iPoint has partnered with a handful of vendors and is attempting to partner with more! With the partnerships, iPoint will be getting pricing directly from the vendors and updating the library with the latest pricing. Most of the updates come monthly. You can find the list of currently partnered vendors here.

If you have a vendor you would like iPoint to partner with, please reach out to your vendor and loop us in via email at iPointLibray@ipointsolutions.net. We’d love to work with as many vendors as possible and really grow our list of partnered vendors.

Items from non-Partnered Vendors

For all other vendors, we rely on our community submitting the latest price sheets you receive. You can do this in the Manage Vendors/Brands section of the iPoint Library. Or you can email your price sheets to us at iPointLibrary@ipointsolutions.net. An easy way to do this is to setup a email forwarding rule in your email client so any new price sheet from your vendors will be auto sent to us and then you’ll never need to worry about pricing updates again!

How do my Items in iPoint get the Update Pricing?

Each night we look at all the items in the iPoint Library that had updates that day and we push that information to your iPoint. When you come in the next morning and go to the Items list, we’ll pop up a list of the items that had updates the previous night. From there you can review and approve the pricing the changes for each item or approve all. This all assumes you have turned on the Require Approval setting in Settings > iPoint Library. If you don’t have that setting on then overnight your items will automatically be adjusted to the latest pricing.

What if my Retail Price in iPoint is Based on Margin?

We’ve got you covered! When the library gets a new cost and pushes it out to you, your Unit Price will auto adjust based on your margin as long as you have the setting enable to lock the price based on Margin. This is found in Settings > Modules Settings > Items. The same applies if you’ve locked pricing on Markup.

Master Pack Pricing

This feature is seriously awesome. Know how your Master Packs are used to order, but you’re selling as each or by the foot? It used to be a two step proess when prices changed – you needed to modify both items to ensure accuracy. Those days are over! Now, with this option selected, when your Master Pack price changes, iPoint automatically knows that the connected items should be adjusted accordingly. WOW, right?!
