Wire Prefix

Pop Up List: Wire Prefix

Wire Prefixes are part of the future Design and Engineering module. So, while these are being utilized yet, we are documenting them here.

Set Up

1. Click in the last empty line to enter a new Wire Prefix.
2. You can also click on any existing line to modify the text for that prefix.
3. Enter a number in the Sort Order field to define what order the prefixes are displayed. Items with the same sort order number will then be sorted alphabetically.
4. Use the Delete Item button to remove a no longer utilized Wire Prefix.

Use

*At this time, the Wire Prefixes are not utilized in iPoint. But the plan is to include them in the new Design and Engineering model, currently under development.
