This page defines all the Notification triggers available, including:

  • Trigger name
  • Fires when – a description of the action in iPoint that will create and send the notification
  • Criteria possibilities – a list of the choices available
  • Operator – a list of available operators (displayed in parentheses)
  • Criteria Value – what options are available [displayed in brackets]

Cash Bag Account

Fires when: the cash bag account in the Autos module is used.
Criteria Possibilities

Change Order Approved

Fires when: a payment is received against an invoice.

Note: This notification is only sent for items that have had Product Notifications turned on. Go to Items > Add’l Settings and click the Run Notification When This Item is Fully Allocated checkbox.

Lead Status Change

Fires when: the lead status field on a customer record is modified.

Fires when: a product request is allocated in full – this can be a single item or group of items – it is based on the request as a whole. (Example: from the Product Manager you select 10 different line items and create a request. You will only be notified once all of those line items, from that single request, are allocated in full.)

Time Used of Sold

Fires when: the percentage of labor performed compared to labor sold exceeds a specific percentage.
Criteria Possibilities

  • $$Utilization (Greater Than) [percentage amount].
  • Notes:
    • The number used for this calculation comes from the Sales Order List view showing “Time Used of Sold.”
    • This trigger will only fire once per sales order. So, if the work performed on Monday causes the labor used to exceed the designated criteria, the notification will be sent. But additional work completed on Tuesday will not cause the notification to be sent a second time.
    • If you want a notification when a job exceeds 70% labor AND 85% labor, you’ll need to create multiple notifications.

Vehicle Mileage

Fires when: vehicle mileage is updated
