Proposals

The Wild Card Search is now independent between the proposal and sales order modules. Previously, we used the same search for both modules.

Added the ability to Exclude a PDF attachment when generating the eSignature Email. [ Read More ]

Now you can save a proposal as a Template to be cloned for future sales jobs. The template is protected from being used itself, losing the template settings. [ Read More ]

Now when you use filters in Designer to show only packages, the accessories of that package are still displayed. Previously, the filter would hide all accessories and show only the parent package item.

Fixed a bug that kept users from being able to modify phase modifiers in the designer.

We added the ability to customize the Proposal Details or Proposal Details with Grand Summary page of the proposal package with an alternate template. [ Read More ]

Added the ability to filter a proposal to show only or exclude Optional items. [ Read More ]

The printed Delivery Sheet in the Product Manager is now branded with company information and client Purchase Order number.

Added the item color to the Product List report [ Read More ]

When running a Client Combined Sales Order report, you will be prompted whether you would like to Hide or Show Optional items. [ Read More ]

Printing a client Sales Order Report has numerous options for formatting and layout. These options now stick with the proposal/sales order and not the user. So if User A sets up a report in a particular manner it will look the same when User B or User C prints it. Historically, the settings stuck per user instead.

With the introduction of RFP-Liability billing, many of our community members have expressed a preference over the previous RFP-A/R billing model. However, it was extremely difficult to switch from one RFP method to another. But that is a problem no longer. Now when a Sales Order was invoiced under an old RFP method, the software will finish out the billing using the original method even if the default billing method was changed. [ Read More ]

Added the ability to filter the Labor Hours report by Change Order so that you can see how much time was used on change orders alone.

Created a new, simplified way to generate packing slips (also known as a Product Delivery Form) for the product delivered on a Sales Order. [ Read More ]

Scan to Deliver parts on the Product Manager has been enhanced and now provides quick access to the packing slip. [ Read More ]

Projects

Fixed the address on the Project Report so that it displays correctly and populate details for the phone and email contacts.

Expanded the field size for the Task Name on the Project Report so that it displays more. Also realigned the field so it doesn’t conflict with the Completed By name.

Added the ability to enter an item’s serial number on the Project > Parts List window.

When creating an invoice from a project you can now select specific parts and time to add. If you select WO’s you will only see parts and time from those WO’s in the pickers.

Work Orders

Added a trigger so that notifications could be triggered only if there is a memo on the start or stop time entry. [ Read More ]

Added the technician’s initials to the time check-in/check-out window on the Work Order Details tab.

Accounting

Invoices

You can now void an invoice instead of deleting it. This will help you maintain a paper trail on transactions instead of just deleting them. Voiding an invoice in iPoint can also be synced to QuickBooks to void the transaction there as well.

We’ve added the ability to Nest an invoice line item. Nesting causes the item to be indented under the parent (the item directly above it) and then it can be hidden by checking the Hidden checkbox. Hiding a nested item hides the item from printing and rolls the price up into the parent item. To Nest an item, click on the invoice line item number to open the Line Options and then click the Nest button.

iPoint is now capable of selling and tracking Gift Cards and Gift Certificates. [ Read More ]

Payments

Cleaned up the invoice list on payments so that only RFP and Delivery invoices show on an RFP payment. And only Service, Point-of-Sale, and non-RFP invoices show up on a standard payment. [ Read More ]

Modified the Credit Card Processing entry window to be iOS friendly. [ Read More ]

Credit memos

With the introduction of RFP-Liability billing methodology, you can now apply credit memos and payments directly to RFP invoices. You are no longer required to apply the payment or credit memo directly to the RFP invoice itself. Note: This is only for companies using RFP-Liability. If you are using RFP-A/R, you must continue to apply payments and credits directly to the RFP invoice itself.

Items

When adding a package as an accessory to an item, the package is flattened to a simple list of accessories. If the package header itself has an adjustment on it (thus affecting the price of the new package) the package will be checked as a default item on the accessories tab. If the package you’re adding as an accessory does not have an adjustment, then the default checkbox is not marked. [ Read More ]

On the Accessories screen, two of the three parts are marked with a check in the default checkbox while the third does not have the default checkbox marked. The total price of the package will be $200. Keep in mind that if each of the parts has labor included as well, the labor amount will also be included in the package price for the default checked items. [ Read More ]
