Quick-Select Like an iPoint Ninja

When adding products to a proposal in Designer, you can use both shift-select and ctrl-select to quickly select multiple product items in your list. This is especially helpful when you have a large number of items in your list or when you have multiple actions you would like to bulk apply to list items via the Options menu.

Shift-Select

Select items quickly with shift-select and ctrl-select

Shift-select will select everything between the first and last item selected:

  1. Hold down the shift key
  2. Click the Product name (or the Select button) for the first item
  3. Click the Product name (or the Select button) for the last item
  4. Release the shift key

All selected list items will turn dark gray.

Ctrl-Select

Ctrl-select (or command-select on a Mac) allows you to select multiple non-adjacent items in your list:

  1. Hold down the ctrl/cmd key
  2. Click the Product name for each item you’d like to select
  3. Release the ctrl/cmd key

All selected list items will turn dark gray.

Deselecting Items from Your Selection

If you decide you want to deselect an item from your selection, you can either:

  • Hold down the ctrl/command key and click the Product name of the item you wish to deselect, OR
  • Click the Select button for the item you wish to deselect (without holding down shift or ctrl).

The item will return to the original light gray, as it is no longer selected.
